J Alan Six

"Bringing the cowboy hat back to country music” ™, a phrase inspired by his latest recording session in Nashville, keeps the heart and soul of country music alive. J Alan Six’s music is heavily influenced by George Jones, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams Jr., and the likes of Trace Adkins and Jamey Johnson. “Run”, his latest album was produced by Bobby Randall, an original founding member of Sawyer Brown. It features songs written by award-winning songwriter Bernie Nelson. Since then, he has had the privilege to open for some big acts in country music including Gene Watson, Confederate Railroad, Janie Fricke, Mel Tillis Jr. and The Issacs. He started as a DJ for a local country station, where he never strayed too far from his small-town roots and his ever-expanding repertoire, in pursuit of an original country sound.
