Traditional rodeo-style crown, with a 4 inch brick crown and a 4 inch brim. This black hat is cotton felt. The ribbon hatband and bound edge are classy, making the hat look more expensive than it is.

The elastic sweatband inside absorbs sweat and allows the hat to fit a range of sizes. It comes in 4 sizes and with a bit of sizing tape, heads from 6-7/8 to 7-3/4 can enjoy this hat. We ship the sizing tape with your order.

I’ve been looking for a cheaper hat that I don’t have to worry about messing up. On Black Friday I found the Cody at half price and decided why not for $38.50. Wow very impressive hat even if I had paid full price. I also ordered the chestnut Cody and love it also. What a great company I now have 7 Gone Country hats, to make room I took 6 lesser hats to the good will yesterday.

Fantastic value for money

I bought this hat because I needed a black hat for a wedding and didn’t want to spend too much. Walking out of the store (Western Owl Wear in Boise) it immediately has become my favorite hat. By a long shot my favorite hat. The elastic sizing band is both comfortable and secure, it looks great, and doesn’t get hot in the summer sun.
