Gone Country hat size chart

This small business is amazing. Read our reviews and then put us to the test.

Men and women both like this straw hat for its light weight and great looks. It's lightly lacquered and is light-rain water resistant, but don't leave it very wet.

It's pre-shaped with all kinds of attitude. Inside the hat is a comfort patch that keeps the hat from irritating your head if you are hair challenged. You'll love the comfy flex sweatband too.

Tombstone is sized large enough for men but it looks just great on women too. It now comes up to size 8. If you need it a bit smaller, tighten it with the sizing tape included in your order.

Sweat, Wind and Heavy Metal

I waited to write this because I wanted to be sure it would survive. Spring is wet, then hot, then snowy, then back again. I sweat on principle, doesn't matter the temp, so I was hesitant to buy a straw hat. They don't last. First thing's first, it looks like snake skin. This is absolutely in-character for me, and I have gotten many compliments for it. Imagine those scenes in movies with hard rock and explosions, now imagine if that was a hat. More importantly, it has been dragged through tree branches, thorn bushes, been blown down several parking lots in rain storms (enough times that I ended up putting a string through some of the holes to make a chin strap) and drenched in sweat. Little cleaning and it's new again. It's durable, it's badass, what's not to like?

Tombstone?

Nothing against straw hats but the Tombstone just wasn't for me, quality just wasn't there for me, I did an exchange for the palm Backroads, very pleased
