JACKSON SNELLING

I'm 18 yrs old from Austin Indiana. Known as a Storyteller singer/ songwriter. I have been singing since I could talk, but started piano lessons at 13 yrs old and started singing & playing gigs professionally since age of 16. I am adopted and have a form of autism, so people are generally surprised by that. I have written 2 song which have gone viral " Please Listen ", which is about death of my father when I was 6yrs old and my older brother who is severely autistic and thinks our dad is still coming home. 

The other song has gained national attention worldwide "If I Only Knew ", which deals with the pandemic of suicide. I just recently won Video of the Year in Nashville TN at the Josie Music Awards show ( Largest independent music award show) for video of "If I Only Knew ",. And then of course being able to audition in front of the celebrity judges for American Idol 2021. I currently have a cd of my original songs called "Storyteller ", which is on every platform. And I currently do shows in Louisville and Southern Indiana area, plus I have started traveling with my song "If I Only Knew ", for Suicide Prevention Awareness which I perform and speak about my experience and the rising epidemic of suicide which does not discriminate on any level. 

My family consists of my mom Dacia and my older brother Dawson. I would like to become a sign language interpreter and incorporatethat into my music. My goal is to be able to support my family and to take care of my mom, for she has been my rock and at a time the only one who believed in me thru all my struggles,  she never ever gave up on me, so here I am to say there is light at the end of the tunnel.
